The pathway of low-carbon development blueprint planning in Taiwan(The 2nd year)

In continuation of the conclusion of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report, the COP 15 in Copenhagen last December accordingly reached the accord to maintain the global average temperature fluctuation within 2 degrees Celsius with the premise of "recognized scientific point of view", meaning all regions and sectors in the global community are to be in compliance to implement active low-carbon energy actions for moving towards low-carbon society. In Taiwan, the Resolution of “2009 National Energy Conference " list low-carbon society and sustainable development as important issues and secured the emission reduction target and the economic development goal for low-carbon society, as consensus opinion, for the moving toward the low-carbon society in the future. In due course, this project will be in combination with the energy engineering model and the macro-economic model to development national blueprint on the low-carbon path for 2050 within a two-year process period, in together with compiling the draft White Paper on low-carbon path for development.
